National Nursing Home Week: “The Spirit of America”

Mark Woodka

natl-nursing-home-week-17.jpgHappy National Nursing Home Week to all the long-term care (LTC) professionals out there who make our nation's seniors a priority each and every day. With another year comes another theme, and another reason to celebrate your good work.

This year, the American Health Care Association (AHCA) chose "The Spirit of America" to recognize diversity in the senior care industry. As AHCA explains, "Acts of kindness, generosity and compassion from proud veterans, immigrants, and hardworking people of different faiths fill the walls of each center." Each day, people from all walks of life come together to achieve a common goal: Caring for the senior population. And that's a beautiful thing.

At OnShift, we know your work is not easy and admire you for the challenges you overcome on a daily basis to provide quality care and attention to your residents. This week (and every week for that matter) let your good-natured spirit shine and pat yourself on the back for all that you do. I'm thankful to have you all as valued clients and as the devoted caregivers of my loved ones.
